I Need to Rehome our Dog. He is going to be 3 in November. He is a German Shepherd/Pitbull Terrier Mix but I would associate him more with the German Shepherd. Not much History is known about him other than he was born in Center ND. He was dropped off to us here in Bismarck. He has VERY Bad anxiety, He has had it since he came to us. I asked the previous owners and they said his father was the same way. We have tried socializing him, it doesnt work. Reward Training, doesnt work. He only likes My Husband and Myself. If we have family over he will try to flee or get away. He does the German Shepherd rumble talk. He has never snarled or bit anyone. I have a medical condition and it is very very hard to handle him when my Husband is away. He doesnt have a life or living up to his full potential. Looking for someone who has worked with dogs with anxiety disorders or German Shepherds that were not properly socialized. This is very hard on me, I want to do the right thing and I just dont know how to help him. Thank you!
