Never scoop cat box with crystals.This is a clean and in working order automatic cat box. It comes with a three pack of crystals. When it was in use with my two cats went through a crystal tray every two weeks. Was able to set up subscribe and save and have the trays delivered through Walmart on a regular basis I never ran out. Was a great investment.
